The Pilgrim’s Menu in Gijón

Peregrinos en Gijón The Pilgrim’s Menu in Gijón

So many kilometres, monuments and history now remain behind you as you enter Gijón, pilgrim, since setting off on the Coastal Road to Santiago de Compostela!

Gijón is the end of the stage that began in Villaviciosa and the beginning of the stage towards Avilés. We are aware that each step towards our city has been an effort… an effort which different hotel and catering establishments in Gijón wish to reward. But how? By putting themselves in the pilgrim’s shoes.

The most important thing is certainly the need to get your strength back, an undertaking that requires rest and a good meal. So if you decide to stop off on your way at an establishment bearing the logo of the Pilgrim’s Menu and show them your accreditation as a pilgrim, you can enjoy a 10% discount on their daily set menu or tasting menu.

If bygone pilgrims set off on their journey with dogged devotion accompanied by a wine skin and a loaf of bread, we assure you that the road will be undoubtedly easier to follow thanks to these menus and a satisfied stomach replete with Gijón’s cuisine.
