Tino Helguera is one of the country’s great pastry chefs. Spanish Champion and World Runner-up, he returned to stay in the city that saw him grow as a profesional after conquering other parts of the country through franchises.
His son, Sergio Helguera, who Works alongside him, has recently been crowned Young Pastry Chef Champion of Spain, which means the continuity of the saga is guaranteed. La Casa del Chocolate is now owned by the Cafento Group.
They are involved in sweet- toothed Gijón with a “Semicold Rice Pudding”, a typical asturian sweet perfect to taste in summer.
